GUEST POST by Danielle McAnn: Eyelash Extensions 101

Hello beauty friends I am back with another post but today it is guest post by Danielle McAnn from http://www.lashdesign.com.au (:

Hope you guys enjoy this post like I did and be sure to check out their website! Now on to the actual post (:

So we all know that caring for your lashes is really worthwhile, even if it’s a bit overlooked, because eyelashes are a really important part of your facial structure, and your feminine beauty. Any really sultry evening make up look involves a bit of work on your lashes.

With lash extensions, you can have them all day from the moment you wake up! Here is some information about lash extensions, so that you can make an informed decision.

They aren’t cheap! They’re a far cry for you $2.00 set of plastic false lashes, because they are applied by a professional beautician during a procedure that can take a really long time.

They are based on your natural lashes, and each little extension is adhered to a natural lash.

They last about six-eight weeks. While you have them on, you have to be careful with them, so as not to knock them or tear them out. That means:

1. No oil based cleansers (oil weakens the glue)

2. No rubbing your face

You can get them in different designs and shapes, depending on the appearance of your natural lashes.

You should go back to your beautician to get them removed, because if you pull them off you risk taking your natural lashes with them.

Places like Lash Design offer these services.

You can clean them and condition them, however.

Great post Danielle (:

I have actually never heard of lash extensions before so this whole thing was news to me but it sounds really great for people who want their lashes to be longer.

So guys that is it for this post!

Be safe and I will see you in my next post (:

Lets be friends!!
