#2 Blog Name: anything special about it?
Well I knew that I wanted my name to rhymes with my blog's name for some reason I just think it's cute and creative but it's just part of my name Ebony Jay and then what my blog is about Beauty My Way (:

#3 How long have you had your blog for?
August 2014 so a little over a year (:

#4 Favorite color?
My favorite color is pink. Any kind or shade of pink really it doesn't matter I love it all (:

#5 Age?

#6 Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging because I had just started using makeup and I wanted a place where I could show all the things that I was learning and maybe help some other girls (and boys) learn too (: also I had really gotten into youtube videos and wanted someplace where I could put it all into practice.

#7 Favorite Book?
God I can't even pick but I love the Twilight and Hunger games series, Divergent and Insurgent were pretty good too, anything by Eric Jerome Dickey (he's amazing), November Blues, The Blue Blood series, Copper Sun. See? I just can't pick!

#8 Favorite highlighter? Why?
I like the bright pink Sharpie highlighters (: they make my notes really bright and pretty!

...ooooh you meant highlighters for your face....right.....

#9 Holy Grail drugstore foundation?
The Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (stick and liquid) in 340. I will forever use this produce because it honestly matches sky skin tone so well and I really love it.

#10 Holy Grail high-end foundation?
Well I have only tried one and that was the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation, I really liked it but never re purchased it because it's honestly too expensive.

#11 Favorite primer?
I love the bareMinerals foundation, but I've only tried it once because the first one I got for free and I never re purchased. I still dream about it though (:

#12 All time favorite mascara’s? Both high-end and drugstore.
High-end: Never tried a high end mascara
Drugstore: Maybelline Falsies

#13 What’s your favorite makeup brand? High-end and drugstore.
High-end: Not sure I haven't tried many high end brands
Drugstore: Msybelline, forever and always

#14 What’s your favorite food?
I absolutely love pasta! I could eat pasta everyday all day and get fat like the Macy's Day balloon and I would be so happy! (:

#15 If you could travel to anywhere in the world where and why?
I want to go to Spain, Brazil and Flordia (Disney World hellooooo!)

I uploaded 165 times last year (:

I just use iPiccy, it's easy and simple to use for people who are illiterate in this kind of thing (:

Aside from Goodwill which I shop at regularly I stumble into H&M from time to time but I'm not really a clothing shopper

#24 What is something you want to improve about your blog this year?
I really want to be consistent with my blog, get a posting schedule going and really stick to it because I know for me consistency is really important when it comes to the blogs that I like to read. 

I also want to support other bloggers more, I know its not my blog specifically but I attribute my success to others because we're all really standing on each others shoulders and it's important that we realize that and stop competing against each other (:

Kind of. My dad's initials are EJ so he wanted all of his kids initials to be like his. My sisters name is Erica Jasmine and mine is Ebony Joscelynn. So yes and no. 

2. When was the last time you cried? 

A few days ago. I had a really bad headache. 

3. Do you have kids? 

No 

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? 

No I wouldn't. I think I would intimidate me

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot? 

Yes, it is my native tongue

Absolutely not, I don't have a death wish

Right now? Lucky charms but I am also partial to Coco Puffs

Happy endings. I am a huge chicken I can't stand scary movies!

TAG TUESDAY: Curly Girl Tag

Hello beauties! I am back with a new series and this is going to be Tag Tuesday. I feel like a weekly tag post will be a nice change for my blog (: let me know what you guys think!

So this tag is going to be the Curly Girl Tag (: I saw this tag on a few of the hair blogs that I read and I decided to do it!

So lets get on with the tag(:

1. What inspired you to go natural or wear your hair curly?
When I got to college and I saw all the pretty curly haired girls I got really jealous and wanted to get my hair healthy like theirs. Also my sisters were going natural and they thought it would be great if we all did it together.


2. Who are your favorite curly hair idols?
Hands down AndreasChoice. I love her hair and her personality. I also love SunKissAlba and GlamTwinz334. 


3. Which You Tube curly would you trade curls with for a day?
Estefani from MuchMoreThanBeauty. Her curls are so amazing!


4. If you could have only one product for a year, which product would you chose?
Organix Penetrating Argan Oil Of Morocco. I love that stuff! And it's pretty inexpensive. 


5. If you could change one thing about your curls what would it be?
I wish I had more volume. My hair is actually really thin. 


6. What's the craziest thing you've tried on your "natural hair journey"?
Mayonnaise. It works but it really is gross to apply. 


7. What's your secret ingredient that your curls LOVE the most?
Argan oil. It's is perfect for my curls because it's so weightless and it makes my curls happy!


8. If you could merge two brands of products to make your perfect product, which two would it be?
Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and pure Argan oil. I feel like that would be the perfect product for my hair. 


9. What is your go-to hair style when you're in a rush?
A side braid. That is definitely my go to style because it's so quick. 


10. If your curly hair had a name, what would it be and why? 
Unruly perfection lol. Because my hair is so weird and unorganized but somehow it always end up looking okay.

I have been blogging for about 6 years but they were mostly personal blogs and things like that but I have been blogging about beauty for a little over a month (:

Keep in mind that you have to give love to get love. No one gets to be the best by themselves and this is an industry where you need other people to succeed, you need your followers, your supporters, your fans because that are the people that are going to keep you going.

What’s your favourite autumnal lipstick?

My favorite autumnal lipstick is from Wet N Wild and it is a nude color 902c (:
Do you have any pets??

I have two lizards that I share with my boyfriend (: one is named Zuko and the other is Phantom

Deep conditioner, if I did not have that I am pretty sure I would just die (:
